First Voice (Mike J. Marin, USA, 2024)
Mike J. Marin (Navajo, Laguna Pueblo, Washoe) is an award-winning Native American indie filmmaker from East Oakland, CA. His childhood love for storytelling and horror movies led him to begin writing and directing films in 2015. Mike has created a new genre known as Urban Native Horror, combining traditional supernatural Native stories and putting them in an urban setting.
The latest entry in Marin’s cycle of Urban Native Horror is the 2024 release First Voice.
